Making Sure your Mix Is Solid

Howdy, and welcome back. Today we will be discussing how to make sure your mix is good to go. This involves a few short steps to perfecting your masterpiece. Often time’s levels, volumes in, and audio track can either determine whether the track is good quality or a total bust. To eliminate that issue, I’m going to discuss how to avoid that. First things first, be sure to make sure the actual volumes in the audio tracks are at a level of comfort. From there you will need to find the EQ levels. Depending on your software, this can be found in the menus tab. A small box will appear and then allow you to tweak, edit, and adjust the overall levels of your recording. In the EQ settings, you can adjust the compression, the volume, and the panning. When mastering the overall volume of your track, be sure to listen to it precisely. Do you or have you noticed any background noise? Well in the event that you do hear background noise as a presence in your audio track, simply silence or delete this section of your recording. Here is what the screen should look like. Be sure to pay attention to the colors as they represent different functions in the audio track. As always, be sure to comment and leave any questions in the comment section. Have fun experimenting and visit the video included. Make your audio sound professional. Be creative and let me know how it goes for you.
