Xerox Project "Palm Tree Expression" (Marcus. G)

Image
For this project i decided to take a different approach as well. How can I incoporate art from an artist, inspired by earlier art, and turn it in to my art. Well, interestingly i decided to do a "Palm Tree." Not just any palm tree, a palm tree that represents the appreciation and expression of life and art in one piece. "I didn't end up using this, but it's still fuego! Facts or Naw?" How can we i present a message that will resonate with those around me? What will visually ketch the eyes of my viewers? How will people feel about it? Who cares it's Art that should be appreciated through the eyes of many. The meaning behind the art is the lifespan we endure as people. Understanding and realizing the societal issues are more important then a meer disagreement. Life is diversity that can be expressed through many things, gadgets, paintings, pieces, songs, etc. Enjoy it! No matter the weather continue to promote greatness and be humble to whom you are

B2( Raul Cuero)

In regards to Raul, creativity and creative thinking comes from the mind. Raul was a very self oriented person as he grew up sleeping on the floor. He maintained his composure despite the parasites, roaches, and etc. and fell in love with reading. Being exposed to all of this, on top of his parents inability to read and write affected him mentally. Kind of self kept, he pursued and education. Raul was very smart, he participated on the basketball team, and influenced many inventions. Raul graduated as and became a scientist (biologist). He is responsible for ways in which to clean oil spills, how to do away with mold, fungus, and grime. Later in his journey Raul Cuero wrote a book to explain the trails and tribulations of his life growing up. He inspired others to pursue there dreams and ultimately proved to himself and his family that anything is possible. Sheer determination granted him a degree and he was doing what he loved.

(2D)Pacman Grid Art (Marcus G)

For my Grid Art project I took a different approach. I wanted to capture multiple elements of art in one project, thus I incorporated different aspects of art. I thought to myself, what will capture the visual aesthetics of other humans and their artistic vision. From U]T, to my house (all over), to the backyard, to the beach, in my room, I used the traditional grid of a cardboard box. Made with glitter. (This is the actual picture that inspired the art) My grid art project was inspired by my love for retro video games. I've always enjoyed older games like Pacman, Mariokart, Megaman, and more. So with this project I decided to change the elements and leave people in ahh. As appose to constructing a piece via grid (insertables) I chose to go a different. For my project I used a traditional grid from a bedframe box.. Yes I know, not average. However, the (box) bedframe was the base of my project. Incorporated in the piece you can see that Q-tips, Blue Electric

This particular project, all and all was fun to say the least. The inspiration of the art piece titled "Flutter & Shell Adventures" is a story about the different life spectrum's. (Good & Bad). Piece was inspired by Spongebob, which many are familiar with. However, the story-line behind the entire art piece is the different, challenges, stories, parts, and adventures behind life. Unexpected of what to get, you have different scenario's where Flutter and Shell both undergo a phase of depression. From depression it turns into a chaos of different feelings, thoughts, and moods. Continuing, the story veers off to different elements of the world. Bright sunny days, gloomy scary nights, soothing evenings, brilliant afternoons, and typical morning vibes. With life there are many different aspects of it, the whole plot behind the story-line, is choosing which path to take whatever that may be. Some chase money, some chase fame. Some live happily, some live dura
