Effective Tips to Succesful Music Production

Howdy! Feeling a little inspiration? First , eliminate any distractions around you physically, to better focus on the precision of the audio production.  Have you ever wondered if the quality of your music is industry ready? Well here is a valuable step to a successful & clean mix. Try adding a Noise Gate. Which, is known to most as a native plugin associated with typically any musical software. Noise Gates help the automatic removal in signals in certain parts of an audio track where the music/instrument is not being played. As the audio plays, the Noise Gate recognizes the sound waves of the audio track and un-mutes when the instrument(s) are detected.  Using your music software of choice, keen in on the audio track you are working with. Be sure to silence any areas of white noise prior to editing the actual audio. In addition, yes... the process is tedious. However, it makes the overall composition of the vocals sound 10 times cleaner of unwanted noise. Still confused about what a Noise Gate is? Mess around with it and get the five parameters (Threshold, Reduction, Attack, Hold, and Release) to a level of likeability. Play around with this step and be sure to comment below and explain how it works for you! Be sure to include what software you are using and any suggestions for topics you would like me to discover and or discuss. Until next time! As always, be creative and have fun toggling through your new software. Test it out and try the Noise Gate to see how it works for you.
