Try These Audio Effects for Starters
Howdy, welcome back to blog number 2! I hope that you took some
time to explore the Noise Gate. Altering the overall sound of your vocal
composition is very common in the music industry. Sounds ranging from Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug, Future, T-Pain, Travis Scott and more inspire upcoming artist and rappers to be
unique. Today will be beneficial to you, as we continue the mixing process for
your vocals. Distinguishing how you want to sound is critical. During the
process of mixing vocals, there are features within the software that allow you
to modify your sound. Common things to consider are Reverb, Filters, Flanger, Delay, Echo,
etc. In an industry full of diversity, creating your personal niche is
critical. Many artist seek to make a sound that is original and one that is
hard to recreate. However, here are some quick tips and starters to help find a
sound suitable to you.
- Reverb- a reflected signal or sound created during audio soundwave multiplication. ( Signals reflecting naturally off of walls, windows, and hollow-ness)
- Echo- created in time with the music composition; synchronized to the project tempo. Dry echo is more of an original presence, Wet is more notable as you adjust the amount of echo.
- Compressor- reduces sounds that exceed the audio threshold. Allows adjusting the adjustment of quite sounds. Enriched the overall loudness of the audio.
- Equalizer-changes the levels of frequency bands. Shapes the audio traffic from highs and lows.
