Project 2 Update

I completely forgot to post the progress and updates of my project, however here is an illustration of what i am doing. Not in full detail. (if i showed you everything it be pointless. However here are the buildings of the city-scape that i have constructed primarily with cardboard. The  plot twist, each building will be engulfed in a different type of material to express the differences of the world.

Not noted in the pictures, but the buildings will be in the upward position, either held together by superglue, or even better by supporting back pieces. The intentions with that are to get little candle lights and place them strategically behind them, to give it a city vibe.

The sole purpose of the project is to convey to the communities, that life is what you make it, and where you end up is completely up to you. The buildings represent different entities that ultimately put you in better place to succeed and excel in life. The different, textures and patterns that i include will represent diversity.

From there i will be projecting a video that represents the rate at which life can move. It can be dark and rapid, or bright and fluent.

For my Grid Art project I took a different approach. I wanted to capture multiple elements of art in one project, thus I incorporated different aspects of art. I thought to myself, what will capture the visual aesthetics of other humans and their artistic vision. Performing Art Piece w/ Malia

The performing art piece I chose to do with my partner Malia B. was one that should inspire many. At first I had no idea of what I wanted to do. I thought about a music video, but how can I be apart of a performance and put a twist on it. Thus, forth I decided to seek a partner or partners. In class me and Malia coordinated amongst ourselves when we meet. We met here on campus in the Music Department in the instrument portion of the building. I coordinated with an old professor about performing and getting together a group of students to join us. Inspired also by a famous producer know as TheGoat 808, he has challenge that you say or yell, "How you gunna be a GOAT and you don't GO OUT AND TRY!" Got it, easy pickings.
